In my HeartMath studies and application it has opened up more realizations in my awareness. Yesterday I gave my first HeartMath presentation to a small group at the Mastering Stress sessions I have been doing at our local Healthfood Store.
With HeartMath application there is a fundamental part in most of its tools that calls to bring forth a positive feeling. A feeling that brings a sense of renewal. The suggestion is to: “Try to re-experience the feeling you have for someone you love, a pet, a special place, an accomplishment, or focus on a feeling of calm or ease. You might, for example, recall a relaxing vacation; a special moment you shared with another; the appreciation you feel for someone or something in your life. Remember the FEELING you had, such as joy, appreciation, care, compassion, or love. In the lab, it’s been shown that experiencing these core heart feelings is what provides regeneration to the nervous system, the immune system, and the hormonal system, facilitating health and well-being. And these positive feelings also assist us in seeing the world with more clarity, discernment and balance.”
I find that as I access these positive feelings it provides a sense of renewal and motivation. One of the memories I use to access these positive feelings regards a time I had sharing a moment with my father. I remember having a conversation with him that I felt was the epitome of ease and realness shared with another human being. This feeling has been prompting me to share such experiences with others. I know my healing work with others really depends on how real I am with those I serve. Having the feeling from the memory of the experience with my father is serving well to renew and motivate me in my work and as well in all my living.
I hope my words may inspire you to consider your own thoughts that really do bring a sense of renewal and upliftment.
