A mentor of mine, Alan Hammond, once offered these words about the opportunities that are inherent in our lives as we age stage by stage.
“As we know from experience, there are ages and stages in life.
Each one of them is designed to be delightful.
But there is something to be done, to be experienced, and to be contributed in every age and stage of life.
Each stage has its own creative opportunities and responsibilities.
Those who are coming into their more “senior generations” have a very special opportunity in the world today.
(As LIFE) Stage by (LIFE) stage passes away. In its place emerges the opportunity for a fuller experience of our Selves, and a greater opportunity to contribute (into life!)”
