I love this quote about Johann Sebastian Bach, which I found in Elbert Hubbard’s “The Great Musicians.” It’s such a powerful example of how to live. You may want to read it slowly…or more than once.
“Such was Sebastian Bach;
He accepted no insults;
he had no grievances against man or fate;
earnest, simple—he filled his days with useful effort.”
